Z Wave Whole House Fan

Z Wave Whole House Fan

1/12/2017  · This is the Z-Wave device: This is (or is at least very close to) the whole house fan: The fan was originally connected to a High / Low switch (where the middle position = OFF), and worked fine. I replaced the High/Low switch with a GE Smart Fan Control, Z-Wave, In-Wall, 12730. There were separate wires to Low and High c…

9/9/2018  · Of course voice control comes along with the use of the Z – Wave switch my biggest challenge there was addressing my paranoia about inadvertent voice actuation (I don’t want the whole house fan operating unless a sliding door or window is open, and especially not when my parrot is in the vicinity).

Z-Wave whole house fan control? We currently have an old Emerson 30 whole house fan hooked up to a rotary dimmer switch – the kind with a knob you turn to set the speed. The fan is variable speed and direct drive, so we’re not talking about a normal ceiling fan here with high, medium, and low speeds. The motor is a 1/3HP motor drawing 4.3A.

Although the way the installation is wired now, the on.

8/30/2020  · The whole house fan is a fairly powerful two speed, pull chain type, in the central hallway of a 2,500 sq ft house that is in the attic space access hatch, on a counter weighted piano hinge. A 8-KPL secondary ON button is part of a standard 3-way for manual control.
